My current role as faculty
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Administration at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy in Pomona, CA. I primarily teach the psychiatry content within our curriculum and guide students on how to apply this knowledge to care for patients beyond the classroom.
I try my best to inspire our students not to fear psychiatric medications in their future careers and to consider psychiatric pharmacy as a career path by immersing them in the humanism and complex challenges faced in providing mental health care. I present patient care in the framework of diversity, equity, and inclusion whenever possible, and encourage our students not to be afraid of being leading voices in their fields as future clinicians.
